How many stars in the sky? We recently read a book about a little boy who tried to count them all. The sky was too bright in the city so he and his father had to drive to the country where it was darker. They discovered that there were just too many to count. Everywhere they looked...they saw thousands of stars!
This is a video clip that I thought the kids would like. These images were taken with the Hubble telescope and show some of the cool things that we can't see with our own eyes. Explain to them that the telescope is HUGE and POWERFUL! Some of the kids seemed really interested in space. So, here you go!
