I've mentioned it before, but I've got to say it again. I love Between the Lions! It's the best and most relevant educational show that I can find for first graders learning to read. It's so smart and catchy. I've gotten a lot of ideas for how to teach reading from this program. It doesn't come on as much as it used to. Makes me mad! But, you can buy the DVD's at Hastings or on Ebay. Also, you can find tons of clips online. I've posted a lot of those in our ipod on the blog. Plus, go to http://pbskids.org/lions/ for fun games and printouts from the show. It's good stuff guys! Check it out.

Best Show on Television!
